We stayed 1 night. 3 adults and one 40lb puppy. We stayed on the 1st floor and it was quiet. The room was clean, updated and had a nice grass area for dogs. It's next to Carl's Jr., close to a gas station and felt safe. They had a basic selection (eggs, yogurt, waffles, fruit, toast, bagels, coffee, etc...) for breakfast that satisfied our needs. Great location, directly off the freeway.
The staff/front desk were very attentive and kind, but the manager at this location, Leigh Castro, was not very helpful. She would not address a person directly even if they were standing in front of her. Very dismissive attitude.
We are Wyndham rewards members, which allows us to have early check in. We called the hotel the night before to verify this early check in time and they still made us wait an hour to be able to have our room. Then they accidentally put us in a room that wasn’t clean yet.
The maids were much kinder and more helpful with letting us know which rooms were available than the manager was.
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable which was great! It’s a nice place to stay, but it unfortunately has poor management.
I was really disappointed when I stayed at this location. I reserved 2 nights and checked out after the first night because how horribly uncomfortable the bed was. I was in pain all night long. It was like sleeping on a board. The pillows had no support at all. I woke up with a kinked neck and a sore back. The room was decent as far as being cleaned but the carpet was gross. My shoes were sticking to the carpet. It was sticky and visibly dirty with dark walkways. Honestly, you get what you pay for and this was a hard lesson in you can’t put a price on quality.
DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED! There are homeless encampments in the area and they steal items from vehicles at the hotel at night. They make a loop through the hotels nearby each night, scoping out on bicycles. The staff is aware of the issues and no information is disclosed to the guests on check in so they can protect themselves. I had $2000 worth of gear taken off my vehicle and had to hunt it down myself that night, which I found at the homeless encampment nearby. I was able to recover 80%, all which was heavily molested. Las Cruces PD do not respond to anything dealing with the homeless, as it is a sanctuary city. Moral of the story, I paid to stay the night, and ended up spending the night looking for my lost items in a homeless person's tent! TRAVELER BEWARE! NEVER AGAIN!
My experience was A+!! Friendly receptionist upon arrival. Room was clean & neat. Ridiculously comfortable bed & bedding specially after my long drive. Mini fridge & microwave - great addition. Toilet worked. Tub was not clogged. Would stay here again.
The facility overall is not well maintained. Fire doors left propped open, interior doors damaged, scuff marks on the walls. One of our two rooms had not been completely cleaned. Trash on the floor, stains on bedding.
The check in was quick and the staff friendly. The breakfast next day was sufficient with a clean area and some variety.
This is a nasty hotel. We went to the room, opened the door, returned to the front desk to cancel our stay. Maintenance of building and grounds is below acceptable. Staff was polite. Of, course our credit card was charged. It is worth the …
